Richard Scarpelli

CTO/Inventor of NewtonGen

Richard Scarpelli has been contributing to the development of mainstream technologies for over four decades, and we still use his inventions today. Starting in the 80s, he made significant contributions to the development of satellite communication and tracking. They used some parts in Dish, DirecTV and other hardware, computerized industrial controls, fiber optic drives, and touch screens. In the mid-90s, he became the senior engineering and headed up Square D WESPAC Automation group supporting over $100M in business. He developed new products, support sales, project designs, project management, startups, education and training. his allowed patents from 2007 to 2013, for LED lighting systems, which are used in all LED lighting manufacturing today. In 2021, he invented the NewtonGen on demand renewable energy system.

Gary (Joe) Lufkin

CEO, CPA

Mr. Lufkin brings over 40 years of experience in the public and private sectors. He practiced as a CPA for 16 years with Ernst & Young and served as CFO and member of the Board of a publiclytraded energy company. He was CEO of a holding company specializing in mergers and acquisitions and CEO of Advanced Robotics, a company that manufactured and distributed high-tech robots world-wide. He also served as Chairman of the Board of Hytec Automotive, a manufacturer and distributor of automotive parts. Mr. Lufkin has participated in initial equity offerings both public and private most recently served as CFO for the DeBartolo organization.

Thomas Nagy

Vice President Marketing & Brand Development

Mr. Nagy has 20+ years of progressive brand management experience and a proven track record of developing sustainable marketing strategies. He has owned and managed Vivid Infusion, a successful branding, and public relations company, and built strong strategic alliances with awardwinning graphic design, diverse video production, and commercial printing firms. He served as Vice President of Marketing for DeBartolo Holdings working directly with Chairman Edward J. DeBartolo.

David Schmidt

Vice President, International Sales

David Schmidt brings 25 years of progressive experience in IT, sales, and leadership experience primarily working with small organizations selling to major corporations. His engineering mindset and understanding of the market coupled with executive presence and talent management experience brings the needed energy to the leadership role of business development.
